More Shutters
These ones are short shutters for the small windows. It is a set of three. As a matter of fact, the shutters are the same but one is opened, another one half closed and one has a broken half. They have 3 recolorable channels and have to be put with the ‘moveObjects’ cheat on. They can be shifted up and down the wall. I’ll show you here some images of the 3 kinds and of the 3 varieties I made them in.

Some Shutters
Up till now I only have made window decorations for the inside of the house but I’ve noticed there’s a lack of outside shutters so I decided to make some for you. Two shutters here for Medium sized EA windows. The shutters should be placed with the ‘moveObjects on’ cheat. Once placed they can be moved up and down (like other wall decorations).
The first one I made is for the beautiful Crowning Glory Window. The shutter has two recolorable channels. It looks like this:

The next shutter I made will fit 4 different EA windows. This shutter has 3 recolorable channels although the 3rd one is hardly to be seen. It’s the small metal part of the shutter. This one has to be placed as well with the ‘moveObjects on’ cheat and can be shifted up and down. Here I will put some thumbnails so you can see the windows this shutter can be used for:
Superfluous Curtains
Description:
In my opinion, the superfluous window is a small piece of art. Nice metal details but… it’s not a very popular window because of being so small. You don’t need only large windows in a house… so I decided to make this small window more attractive by making some ‘covers’ for it. A blind, slightly larger than the one EA made. A transparent curtain and a normal texture curtain. Each of them comes in 3 recolours but, of course, you can recolor them yourself as well.

Kitchen Curtains
Description:
I have always missed small curtains for the common ‘counter size’ windows. That’s why I made a set of small curtains and made them for the windows you can see in the pictures. The set consists of 5 sims3.packs. Three curtains cover the whole small window. One curtain covers half of it and the smallest one ‘GrandmaPride’ can be combined very nicely with the beautifull small EA curtain. You can see it as well in the pics. All the curtains of this set can be moved (like paintings). Of course, they are fully recolorable. I really hope you enjoy them!

Vertical Blinds
Description:
I always loved the EA Vertical Static Blinds but they simply didn’t fit the high windows… So I have made a Vertical Blind higher and wider. It’s of course recolorable.

Bay Window Curtains
Description:
The traditional Bay Window is nice but it hasn’t got many curtains. I bring you here 2 curtains especially made for this difficult window. Both curtains are transparent. One covers the 3 window parts completely and the second curtain covers the window partially. They are recolorable.

Curtain Combi
Description:
This set consists of 2 curtains. They are a combination of transparent curtain with opened heavy curtains. Although I show 2 colours, I’ve only made them in one colour which doesn’t really matter because you can recolor them completely.

Royal Curtains
Description:
This curtain is a combination of transparencies and heavy curtains. I have textured this curtain in only one colour. You can recolor them of course because the transparent and opaque curtains look good with other textures as well.

Heavy Curtains
I have made these curtains to be combined with my transparent 3×1 curtains but I made them wider in order to cover completely the sides of the window. When I create curtains I try to keep them on a certain distance because I want them actually to cover the sides of the transparent curtains as well. You can see how they look in combination with the curtains that have been published already.

TransCurtains
Description:
This set consists of 3 transparent curtains: For 1 tile window, 2 tile window and 3 tile window. In spite of being transparent, they are fully recolorable. I hope you like them.

Automatic Curtains
Description
A set of long curtains 1×1, 2×1 and 3×1. These curtain are really automatic. They will close at 6 pm and open again at 6 am. Description:
This was my first curtain set. There are four curtains. Opened curtains, closed curtains, left side closed and right side closed. They can be used with most of the 2×1 windows. I’ve only made them in 2 colours but of course you are free to recolor them to your taste. These curtains can be used as well if you have only the base game. However, it’s possible that the textures I used are from some expansions but that wouldn’t be a problem because you can recolor them.

Outlet Curtains
Description:
This set consists of 3 curtains for windows 1×1. They can be used for most of the windows because they cover the window from floor to ceiling. Closed curtains, straight open curtains and open tied back curtains. This time I have made them only in one colour because you can recolor them to your likings. The tied back curtains have 3 channels to recolor.

Description:
These curtains will cover the wall from ceiling to floor and were made for 3 tile windows. The set consists of closed curtains, open curtains and tied back curtains. They are fully recolorable and the tied back curtains have 3 channels to recolor.

Hi Lisa Rose. Thank you for your comment on my curtains. The automatic ones work when you have the expansion of Supernatural Creatures installed. I cloned them from the paintings that get creepy during the night time. You don’t need any mod for them, only that expansion pack.
That’s strange as I have supernatural??? And still doesn’t work?
Hello Lisa Rose. That really is strange. Did you look in the launcher if that expansion pack is checked in the check box? I started a vanilla game (new game) and installed many of my curtains. The automatic ones are the only ones that are not cloned from base game curtains. I cloned those ones from one of the weird paintings that change at 6 o’clock. In my game the curtains are correct and at TSR where I have these curtains as well to be downloaded, nobody told me they had a problem with them. If you continue without them working, try to install the curtains af 6 pm (game time). Then they should install closed already and then wait till 6 am to see if they open. I can send you a video clip of the closing and opening of the curtains in my game. I hope this will be of help.
